Puri-Konark Marine Drive(Odisha): Mame Khan evoked emotions amongst the crowd of hundreds with his mesmerising performance on Monday at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat in Konark.
The last star performance of 2019 at the Eco Retreat vibed well with the symphony of the waves.
The singer best known for his folk songs created a vibrant ambience as he started with “Padharo Mare Des”.
Earlier, union minister for petroleum and steel Dharmendra Pradhan, checked into Marine Drive Eco Retreat and was felicitated by State trourism director Sachin R. Jadhav.
Mame Khan said: “We were stunned by the beauty of this place on arrival. The place is amazing, beautiful and outstanding. We had a great show and since I mostly play in Rajasthan, to play by the beach was a different and majestically experience. The crowd was amazing too.”
Odisha tourism minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi said: “Mame Khan’s performance today was quite ethereal and was complimenting with the energy of the audience. It is great to see everyone in a festive mood to mark the end of the year and we are glad we could give everyone a platform to come together and celebrate special moments such as these.”
