New Delhi: The union petroleum & natural gas minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, Monday launched the country’s first online distribution based gas trading platform- Indian Gas Exchange (IGX).
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the electronic trading platform is a new initiative in the Indian history of energy. He said that the platform would further the steps toward free market pricing of gas in the country.
Pradhan said that the Peroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) would soon going to announce a pro-business tariff policy for transportation of gas.
