Puri (Odisha): An advertisement in Facebook offering sale of Puri Jagannath Temple Mahaprasad has been opposed by various groups in the State.
An FIR has been filed in the name of one Jyoti Ranjan Das in Sighadwara police station of the holy city.
Jyoti has formed a group ‘So Quick’ in the Facebook account to sale Mahaprasad.
The complainant has stated in the FIR, “By doing so, Jyoti has not only violated the law but also hurt the sentiment of millions of Hindus.
