Kolkata: The CBI police in West Bengal arrested two ministers along with an MLA and a former Mayor of TMC on Monday in connection with Narada sting operation case.
West Bengal ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee, MLA Madan Mitra and former Mayor Shovan Chatterjeet were picked up by the CBI police from their residences in the wee hour of Monday.
The CBI officials and Central police force drafted from Delhi stayed in the Nizam Palace, the CBI head quarter for the region last night. The crack team of the Central investigating agency swooped on the redidences of the TMC leaders in the early morning and arrested them.
The arrest of the leaders following the finalisation of the chargesheet in the case. The leaders will be produced in the CBI court today.
