Bhubaneswar: That the American ‘deep state’ attempt to disrupt India’s global position catches the imagination of Indians. A new book has delved deep into this phenomenon to prove the American Deep State’s intriguing role in Indian politics and governance.
Shdows of American Deep State in India, a book by IIT alumnus Umakant Rath tries to make readers understand the disruption the country face, the cause of it and the people behind it.
The 266-page book has been published by Delhi based Homegrown Media Publishing in January, this year.
The Night of Revealation: The spark that ignited is a chapter that reveals what made the author to write this book. He writes:
‘As I scrolled through the latest videos, a thumbnail caught my attention:”George Soros and Hillary Clinton Receive America’s Highest Civilian Honor: The Award of Freedom.”
I stopped. A sense of unease gripped me. The applause on the screen was deafening, the ceremony dignified, and the words spoken in reverence. But beneath the surface, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something far more insidious was at play. Here they were—two of the most influential figures in modern politics—being celebrated for their lifelong contributions to shaping global policy. But for me, their actions had always been a part of something darker, something more troubling. The timing couldn’t have been more deliberate. Just days before President-elect Donald Trump was to take office, the outgoing Biden administration had chosen to bestow their highest honor on the very symbols of global manipulation and power play. My heart sank. I couldn’t sleep that night. My mind kept racing. Why now? What message were they sending? It was as if they were celebrating their dominance, mocking the rest of us, knowing full well that their legacy of control would live on, no matter who sat in the Oval Office.
I leaned back, my mind racing. The American Deep State—those powerful networks that shape the destinies of nations from the shadows—had long been a source of intrigue and concern for me. I had spent years trying to understand how this shadowy apparatus of influence, composed of political elites, intelligence agencies, oligarchs, and secret societies, managed to direct world events, including those in my own country, India.
Spreading over twelve chapters, the book also exposes the Indian actors in the off shore conspiracy.
The author tries to narrate the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in defending the nation against the onslught of the American Deep State.
The author in the Preface writes, ‘This book is a journey into that unseen world-a world where political power is not always determined by the ballot box but by shadowy networks of influence and control. The American Deep State. with its vast apparatus of elites, agencies, and financiers, has long shaped world events from behind closed doors. Its influence has extended far beyond American borders, affecting countries and continents in ways most people are unaware of.
And at the heart of this influence has often been India-“its politics, its economy, and its very sovereignty. In exploring the intersection of Modi’s leadership and the American Deep State’s influence on India, this book seeks to unravel how external forces have shaped, and in some cases, tried to destabilize India’s rise as a global power. It examines the ongoing tug-of-war between India’s vision of its future and the invisible hands that have tried to pull the strings behind the scenes.
