Bhubaneswar: The national agricultural bank, Nabard, has pegged the State Credit Plan for Odisha at Rs 71,419 crore for the year 2018-19.
The Nabard Focus Paper for Odisha, which was unveiled at State Credit Plan Seminar organised by the bank , here on Wednesday, pegged the credit flow for agricultural sector would be Rs 38, 378 crore.
The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, who graced the Seminar , said that the Nabard Focus Paper would be a good reference for the banks, state government departments and also the academicians.
Nabard’s developmental financial assistance is expected to cross Rs 16,000 crore in the current fiscal as against of Rs 14,715 crore provided for the year 2016-17.
Finance minister Sashi Bhusan Behera, chief secretary AP Padhi, finance principal secretary TK Pandey, and Nabard CGM KC Panigrahi also addressed the Nabard Credit Seminar.
