Cuttack, Khorda, Puri, Dhenkanal and Ganjam districts felicitated
Bhubaneswar: Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khorda and Puri districts were felicitated at the 8th State-level Folk Dance & Folk Music Festival, here on Monday. Khorda collector Nirmal Chandra Mishra, Puri collector Aravind Agarwal,Ganjam collector Premchand Choudhury, Cuttack collector Sushant Mohapatra and Dhenkanal collector Akhil Bhawan Kalyan received the felicitations on behalf of their respective districts.
The Nagar Kala Sanskruti Sangha(NKSS) of Balasore was also felicitated on this occasion.
The chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, earlier inaugurated the Festival.
Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda, secretary Manoranjan Panigrahi, director Bijaya Kumar Nayak , MP Dr. Prasanna Kumar Patasani, MLA Bijaya Mohanty, Pridarshini Mishra, and mayor Ananta Narayan Jena graced the occasion. Culture department’s joint director Sanghamitra Satapathy, and state project coordinator Basudeva Malabisoi conducted the programme.
