Odia IRTS officer of 1982 batch P.S. Mishra joins as GM of South Eastern Railway

Bhubaneswar:Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) 1982  batch officer  Purnedu Sekhar Mishra has taken over as the new general manager  of South Eastern Railway (SER) at Kolkata..

Mishra was princiapl chief operations manager(PCOM) of Western Railway at Mumbai before his new assignment.

Born in Odisha, has worked in various capacities such as Advisor, Safety & Executive Director (Corporate Co-ordination), Railway Board, Divisional Railway Manager-Raipur, South Central Railway, Chief Transportation Planning Manager, South Eastern Railway.

Besides, he worked as Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Chief Transportation Planning Manger and Chief Passenger Transportation Manager both in East Coast and East Central Railways.
