Bhubaneswar: Odia girl Lavanya Das was crowned with ‘Miss Teen Universe’ title in Malaysia.
She won the title competing at the international level with 35 contestants from 25 countries.
Lavanya managed to win the title with her mesmerizing performance that impressed the judges in talent, national, costume and sports rounds at the competition. She promoted Indian culture and tourism as well as Odisha’s rich culture and tourism at the competition in Malaysia.
Lavanya, a student of DAV School at Unit 8 in Bhubaneswar, is a professional model and she gave entire credit to her parents, school, teachers and friends for her success at the event. Last year, she had won the Pre-teen Junior Model International title at beauty pageant in Kerala.
