Cuttack: The 80th Inter-State & National Table Tennis Championship 2019 got off here on Friday. Over 4000 lovers of PingPong action crowded the Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium to welcome over 600 TT players representing 37 teams of the country. Some of the iconic TT players of the country who made the country proud in the last Asian Games at Guangzhou and Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast will be seen in action in next six days in the JLN Indoor Stadium.
The colourful inaugural ceremony was graced by Odisha sport minister Chandra Sarathi Behera, sports secretary Vishal Dev, Odisha State TT Association (OSTTA) president LN Gupta, I & PR secretary Sanjay Singh and DP Bagchi and Cuttack collector Arabind Agarwal.
