Bhubaneswar: The ruling BJD has decided to field Angul MLA Rajanikanta Singh as its Deputy Speaker candidate. Given the party’s strength in the Assembly–112/146– Singh is certainly going to be the Dy.Speaker of the House.
The BJD supremo has appointed Dharmasala MLA Pranab Balabantray as parit’s Deputy chief whip.
