Bhubaneswar: The city-based Kalinga Hospital, one of the premier super speciality hospital of the State, has been punished by the Odisha government for misbehaving with the chief whip of opposition party and Keonjhar BJP MLA Mohan Charan Majhi. The government has suspended the hospital from the list of the Odisha State Treatment Fund(OSTF).
The state health minister,Naba Kishore Das, has informed the State Assembly that following the directive of the speaker Surya Narayan Patra a four member committee of the health department probed in to the allegations of misbehavior made by the Majhi and it was found to be true.
