Bhubaneswar: Tarang Cine Prodcutions’ new Odia film ‘Khusi’ will hit the screens in theatres across the State on next Friday. Delving into parallel film production for the first time, Tarang Cine has produced a film on burning social problem of child abuse.
A special screening of upcoming movie was held, here at Odissi Research Centre on Sunday.
Khusi aims at creating awareness against sexual abuse of children, said Tarang Cine Productions’ creative head Ranjan Satpathy. According to him the film is based on a real life story. ‘Khusi’ narrates how a girl, subjected to sexual assault, struggles to come back to the mainstream society, Satpathy added.
Directed by Tapas Sargharia, the film has Mihir Das, Madhumita Mohanty and Soma Bhaumik in star casts.
