Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government Monday suspended a block development officer(BDO) and two sarpanches from their services.
The State panchyati raj minister, Pratap Jena said the BDO of Harbhanga block of Boudh district Rabindra Satapathy has been placed under suspension for corruption and irregularities in implementing PMAY programmes.
The minister said the Kedarpur Sarpanch of Sora block in Balasore district Abhimanyu Jena has been suspended for alleged financial irregularities and Ankoroda Sarpanch Usanta Sahu Digapahandi block of Ganjam district suspended for amassing assets disproportionate to his know sources of income.
