School & College teachers don’t come to institutions

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has asked school, college and university teachers not to come for teaching. They have beem asked to remain in their respective headquarters and respond to phone calls.

The State school & mass education and also the higher education departments have issued circulars on Monday ( 5966/ SME 16.03.2020 and 13327/ HE 16.03.2020) asking all teachers and employees of both government and private educational institutions not to come to their places of work.

However, those teachers and employees engaged in examinations of X and XII and valuation work will have to attend to their duties.

All examinations from class 1 to 9 and class 11 have been cancelled till further notice.
