Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has scaled up the functioning of government offices by increasing the staff strength to 50% in critical category departments.
The government has classifed 15 departments as critical and remaining as partial critical. Upto 30% of officials and staff will attend the partially critical department.
The critical departments are agriculture, commerce& transport, co-operation, excise, fisheries & animal husbandry, finance, food supply & consumer welfare, general administration, housing & urban development , health & family welfare, home, labour, panchyati raj, revenue and disaster management, and steel & mines.
