Bhubaneswar: Western Odisha Development Council chairman Subash Chouhan dies in a private hospital, here on Sunday. He was 54.
Chauhan was suffering from liver cancer.
Chauhan was a prominent Vishwa Hindu Parishad before joing BJP in 2014 to fight unsuccessfully the Lok Sabha election from Bargarh constituency. He then switched over to BJD to contest unsuccessfully the Lok Sabha election from Bargarh in 2019.
