Bhubaneswar: Odisha governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal hailed the New Education Policy (NEP) of government of India.
Prof. Lal, while addressing a webinar on NEP, said that the Policy is based on Indian culture, academic tradition, thinking and essence. He urged the vice chancellors of various government as well as private universities of the State, who participated in the webinar, to sincerely work to implement the NEP.
The VCs opined that the NEP would bring in a revolutionary change in Indian education system.
Governor’s secretady Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda also addressed the webinar. Governor’s personal secretary Himansu Narayan Patnaik and additional secretary Chitta Ranjan Mohanty were present.
