Indian Women’s Hockey Team lost Bronze to Britain by 3-4 in Tokyo Olympics

Tokyo:Indian Women’s Hockey team lost Bronze medal as it lost the match against Great Britain by 3-4.

After initial set back of 0-2 in the first quarter, the Indian team was leading the match by 3-2 by the end of first half. However, it lost the ground in the second half to the rival team. This despite brilliant performance by Indian goal keeper Savita Punia . India missed the chance to bring the game to equal as it failed to convert a penalty corner at the last moment
