Bhubaneswar: Asit Tripathy, WODC chairman and former chief secretary of Odisha, has become president of Bhubaneswar Club for the second time. He defeated his sole rival Satya Prakash Nanda, also a former IAS officer by 700 votes. Asit bagged 885 votes against 185 votes by Nanda.
Significantly, Asit Tripathy led panel scored an impressive victory in the election.
