Ranchi : Talaipalli and Dulanga coal mines of NTPC Mining Limited (NML) were awarded with 5 Star Rating for the year 2022-23. The awards were given by union coal minister G. Kishan Reddy and minister of state for coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey to Shivam Srivastava, director (Fuel), NTPC Limited, Animesh Jain, CEO NML, A S Yadav, Head of Project ,Talaipalli and B R Prasoon, Head of Project Dulanga at the Annual Star Rating of Coal Mines award ceremony held on Monday in New Delhi.
These awards are testimony to NML’s path in carrying out sustainable mining practices to achieve Atmanirbharta in coal requirement of NTPC and Country as a Whole. Total 384 coal mines of India competed for the prestigious star rating award. Out of these 43 coal mines were bestowed with the 5 Star rating.
