Bhubaneswar: Odisha Congress Legislative Party leader Rama Chandra Kadam has demanded for five ropeway projects connecting major tourist destinations in tribal district of Koraput.
Kadam had wriiten a letter to union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari.
Gadkari has assured Kadam to take up the projects with consultation with the State government.
Gadkari, in letter to Kadam, has mentioned, ‘ Pease refer to your D.O. letter dated 12.11.2024 regarding provision for five Ropeways in Tourist spots in the Tribal District of Koraput, in the State of Odisha under National Ropeways Development Programme Parvatmala Pariyojana.Your request has been submitted to State Government for their comments/consent for the subject proposal and the same is awaited.’
