Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar Branch, successfully organized an insightful seminar on Bank Branch Audit 2025, emphasizing the significance of the banking system and audit practices in the evolving financial landscape.

The event was inaugurated by Debashish Mukherjee, Executive Director of Canara Bank, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The seminar was chaired by CA Prashant Panda, past chairman of the Bhubaneswar Branch, in the esteemed presence of CA Mahendra Sahoo, Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Branch, and CA (Dr.) Prithvi Ranjan Parhi, Secretary Bhubaneswar Branch and CA Soumya Sunil Sahoo, Treasure and EICASA Chairman, Bhubaneswar.

The seminar featured valuable insights from distinguished industry experts, including CA V. Ravindran from Salem, Dr. P. Siva Rama Prasad from Hyderabad, and Soumya Ranjan Sahoo,AGM, Reserve Bank of India, Bhubaneswar. They shared their in-depth expertise on banking audits, regulatory frameworks, and the latest trends in automation for banking processes.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 300 chartered accountants from across Odisha, providing them with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of banking regulations, risk management, and automation benefits in bank audits. The seminar served as a vital platform for professionals to stay updated with industry developments and best practices in banking audits.
