New Delhi: Gaana, the music app is now going to have non-music content with an view to expand its users base and enhance user engagement.
A company senior executive said, Gaana will now have content like comedy, story telling, motivational talks, workouts and meditation. This diversification in content is aimed at attracting more users and at the same time enhancement of engagement of users on the platform.
The Times Internet Group firm is expecting to have a user base of 500 -600 in next 3-5 years and the company would be able to achieve a break-even by then. It is now expecting that the number of monthly active users on its platform would go up to 200 million in the next two years representing around 50 per cent share of the overall market.
