Bhubaneswar: The Odisha higher education minister, Ananta Das, Friday said that the state government has decided to increase the number of seats in Plus- 3 degree courses in colleges by 7.5% for this academic session. The colleges where in the seats in Plus- 3 degree in arts, science and commerce have been filled up after the second round of admissions would only be allowed to increase their seats by 7% and admit students.
The minister said the increase of seats would be not applicable for self-financing colleges and colleges where the seats are lying vacant.
