Bhubaneswar: Former mines director Deepak Mohanty, who has been appointed as OSD-cum-special secretary in the department of steel & mines after retirement has given another extension. Mohanty’s reemployment will continue for a period of three months from January 1, 2020.
The former IFS officer, Mohanty, is also allowed to remain in additional charge of director of mines.
Mohanty’s extension was essential as the State government is going to auction sale as many as 40 iron ore and other mines in next couple of months.
