Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has launched a drive for mass collection of sample swab for COVID-19 testing. I is opening 5 centres in as many schools in Bhubaneswar city for mass collection of sample swabs.
Jharpada primary school, Chandrasekhar (BDA) Govt.High School, Sahid Nagar Govt. High School, Ganda Munda UG School and Nayapalli Mamataz Ali High School have been identified as centres for swab collections.
The director,public health, Odisha, in a letter to the district education officer Khorda, has directed to open the schools from 11th April to 17th April 2020 to enable medical team to collect samples ( swab tests) from targeted persons for COVID-19 test. Two teachers and an attendant will present to cooperate the medical teams.
Jharpada primary school head mistress Archana Patnaik, and teacher Rosalini Mohanty will in charge of the school centre. Jitendra Nanda and Ratikanta Sahoo of Chandrasekharpur High School, Ananda Patient and Sumati Sahoo of Sahid Nagar High School, Krishna Patnaik and Bijayini Sarangi of Ganda Munda High School, and Minati Das And Sunita Behera of Mamataz Ali High School will be in charge of the centres.
