Bhubaneswar: Odisha is going to start bus services soon.
The State transport minister Padmanabha Behera said that bus services would be introduced in green zones in a day or two.
To start with a bus will ply between twin city of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar from Wednesday. The bus would now ferry only government employees.
Behera said that the chief minister has accorded his approval for plying of buses in the State. However, he added, the passengers have to pay double the fares to compensate the bus operators who would have to ply the buses at 50% capacity.
