Bhubaneswar: The union home ministry has praised the Odisha police for its anti-Maoist operation in Kandhmal.
The union home secretary, Ajaya Kumar Bhalla, in a letter to Odisha chief secretary and DGP, has complimented the team of officers and men of Odisha police for successful operation in Kandhmal in which four CPI Maoists were eliminated. He has applauded the Odisha police in conducting operation in a professional manner without any casuality.
The union home secretary has also the Left-wing Extremist intelligence unit (SIW) and specialised anti-Maoist force (SOG).
