New Delhi :The Centre has extended the term of 15th Finance Commission till 30th November 2019.
The union cabinet, while taking this decision has stated that the term has extended to allow time to the Commission to give his recommendations after studying the the comparative financial positions taking into consideration the reforms and reality of the financial sector of the country.
The Centre has constituted the 15th Finance Commission under the chairmanship of NK Singh to recommend the government of India on distribution of Central funds in a federal structure.
