Bhubaneswar: The high-level land allotment committee headed by chief secretary Asit Tripathy has fast tracked 98 investment proposals for land allotment.
The proposals were recommended for land allotment in Bhubaneswar Master Plan area including Gothapatna, Infocity, Infovalley, seafood park, industrial estates at Kohorda, Kholadwar, Jayamangal, Chhatabar, Anlapatna, Bhagabanpur and Mancheswar.
While giving nod to the land allotment proposals, the chief secretary directed to do the due diligence about the quantum of land required for various types of industrial unit.
The Idco CMD, Sanjay Kumar Singh outlined the technical and financial details of the project before the committee.
Singh, who is also the principal secretary skill development and technical education, said “These units are in different sectors like food processing, manufacturing, establishment of logistic parks and renewable energy. Mostly the units are MSME having potential for employment generation.”
The committee has recommended the proposals to the government for next level of considerations.
