Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Smart City Authroity is going to introduce Public Bi-Cycle Sharing System(PBSS) to encourage pollution free transportation in the city.
The state chief secretary, AP Padhi, said that about 2000 bi-cycles would be available under PBSS in all the main roads of the city before the World Cup Men’s Hockey.
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) vice-chariman, Kishan Kumar, Wednesday said that the cycle would be available to the commuters at Rs 40 to Rs 5o for 40km ride. To start with the first 30 minutes there would be no free of cost and the next 30 minutes would be charged. The cycle would be monitored by mobile apps. Each cycle would be covered under GPS tracking system.
