Bhubaneswar: Nalco’s Panchapatmali Bauxite Mines bagged a rich haul of awards in multiple categories at the 36th Annual Metallic Ferrous Mines Safety Week celebration held at Sukinda in Jajpur district . Thirty four mines participated in the celebrations which was organised by the director general of mines safety, Bhubaneswar region.
NALCO was recognised and awarded in multiple categories including general working (South Block Mines), mechanical maintenance (C &N block), Safety & Compliance (C & N block), Safety Stall renovation (C& N block) and on Swachatta (South Block Mines).
Apart from the group award, employees of the Nalco’s mines division at Damanjodi also won individual prizes in Mishri Lal MemorialCompetition. P.L Mohanta was recognised as the Best Supervisor while T.Aminon bagged an award in the Best HEMM Operator category.
