FIVE WORKING GROUPS TO DELIBERATE ON 10 PRIORITY AREAS
Bhubaneswar: The three-day district collectors workshop that got off on June 11,2017 to suggest innovative ideas to to improve the government delivery mechanism. Prioritizing 10areas such as paddy procurement, rural housing, drinking water, land rights to forest dwellers, city services, construction workers welfare schemes, health and government hospital services, skill development, various schemes aimed at farmers and and students, the chief minister Naveen Patnaik has urged the district collectors to deliberate and suggest the government for improvement of service delivery mechnism.
Five working groups have been formed taking the district collectors to prepare the road map for delivery of government welfare programmes and schemes to the people. While energy secretary Hemant Sharma and rural development secretary Bishnupada Sethi are moderating the Group I deliberations, BDA vice chairman Krishan Kumar and MD state health corporation Rabindra P Singh moderating Group II. Similarly, Idco CMD Sanjay Singh and watershed mission director Sujata Karthikeyan are incharge of Group III while panchayati raj director Roopa Mishra and technical education director Balwant Singh are handling Group IV. The Group V deliberations are handled by health & family welfare secretary PK Meherda and state skill development authority CEO , Rajesh Prabhakar Patil. The Groups deliberated in the chief minister’s conference hall, conference halls of revenue & disaster management department, finance department, third floor conference hall and planning & coordination department Hall.

Soon after the inaugural session, the chief minister , and the chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi interacted with the members of five working groups.
